Lease, 1459, September 29. 38 Henry VI.

Lease for 80 years from the date hereof by Thomas Werthe the elder, esquire, to John Bernevyle, his cousin [consanguineus] of all his share in a hall, a kitchen, a barn, a garden, a close called le Beare and a close called Barlyparke in Waysshefeld (Devon), together with his share of a meadow called Brodemede, and of a meadow called Townemede, and of a wood called Waysshefeld Wode, all of which the said John holds of the lessor. Given on the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, 38 Henry VI.
